New product applications: Hand-held DMM/calculator manipulates, stores, and retrieves values in five registers

This hand-held 3¿-digit multimeter and rpn (reverse-Polish-notation) calculator is fully controlled by a CMOS microcomputer chip. A 32-key keyboard provides more than 70 functions, and results are seen on an eight-digit liquid-crystal display. All readings are obtained using a single set of test probes.
