Abstract :
An improved non-myopic method of maximum likelihood estimation for a 2-parameter Weibull model with multi-censored samples, is derived and demonstrated. Maximum likelihood ratio testing of two hypotheses is discussed for: 1) homogeneous shape parameters, and 2) a composite of homogeneous shape and scale parameters.
