Abstract
As the number of SPICE users continues to grow, the shortcomings inherent to the program become increasingly evident. Though experienced SPICE users are undoubtedly familiar with some techniques necessary to overcome these shortcomings, these techniques have for the most part remained within their respective companies. The paper outlines numerous approaches for coping with the most common problems encountered by SPICE users, the majority of which have not been published in the open literature
