WESCON ´78: A major ´microencounter´ [Meeting preview]

At Los Angeles, computers and communications will rank high, with the main attraction in the 16-bit micro arena. ´Micro/evolution´ is the theme of this year´s WESCON - the Western Electronics Show and Convention - and, as might be expected, a lion´s share of the 36 sessions at the Los Angeles Bonaventure Hotel will concentrate on microcomputer application and development. Memory technologies also rank high on the session schedule, as do such timely topics as intrusion detection, fiber optics, and personal calculators and computers.
