Abstract :
“The flexibility of the electric motor”. is a well worn phrase and one which is quite commonly accepted at its face value. As a matter of fact an electric motor has quite definite characteristics, and these characteristics usually must be modified by some form of controller to adapt a given motor to various conditions.
