Abstract
It was hailed as the most comprehensive study ever undertaken on reactor safety. Known variously as the Reactor Safety Study, WASH-1400, and the Rasmussen Report, the project involved a team of 60 persons, plus consultants, 70 man-years of effort, and some $4 million (see Spectrum, August 1975, pp. 46¿55). During a review of the draft report, 1800 pages of comments were received from 87 individuals.
