Abstract :
The two hundred and thirty-fourth meeting of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers will be held in the auditorium of the Engineer´s Building, 33 West Thirty-ninth Street, New York, on Friday, February 19, 1909, at 8 o´clock p.m. Dr. Charles P. Steinmetz, past-president of the Institute and consulting engineer of the General Electric Company, Schenectady, N. Y., will present a paper entitled, “Prime Movers.” The paper is printed in this issue of the PROCEEDINGS, pages 135–156. The February meeting will be held on the third instead of the second Friday, as the second Friday, February 12, falls on a holiday, Lincoln´s birthday.
