Abstract
Two modulation schemes for multi-channel transmission incorporating a multi-section laser in the uplink of a millimetre-wave fibre-radio system are presented, and the spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) of the laser determined. An SFDR for the multi-section laser of >86 dBHz23/ was measured for both modulation techniques.
