Abstract :
We report the transmission of twenty 10-Gb/s channels with 100-GHz spacing over four 80-km spans of dispersion-shifted fiber in the lower wavelength region of L-band. Low error rates are achieved with 2.5-dBm input power per channel to dispersion-shifted fiber and a span loss of 25 dB.
