  • Abstract
The IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Administrative Committee (AdCom) approved changes to the SSCS Constitution and Bylaws to clarify the role and reporting of the Society executive directors within the IEEE hierarchy. These changes were proposed originally by IEEE staff who reviewed the Constitution and Bylaws of all IEEE Societies on this and other topics. The constitution requires that after AdCom approval of the amendment, it shall be publicized to Society members. Unless 5% or more of the members object within 60 days, the change will take eff ect. If there is 5% or greater objection, the change will go on the ballot to all members with the fall election of AdCom members. The AdCom-approved change to the Bylaws is not subject to SSCS membership approval and takes eff ect as soon as this magazine reaches the membership.
