Abstract :
Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis (SPICE) is a general-purpose circuit simulation program that is used by electrical engineers in the design of ICs. Although SPICE was released to “friendly users” in the fall of 1971, the rest of the world didn´t learn about it until Professor Donald O. Pederson of the University of California (UC), Berkeley, presented our SPICE paper at the 16th Midwest Symposium on Circuit Theory on 12 April 1973.
