Abstract :
A programmable injection-locked frequency divider (ILFD) using a phase-switching technique is presented. The proposed ILFD has been fabricated in a 90 nm CMOS process and has a programmable modulus of six and seven. It consumes 6.7 mW from a 1.2 V supply and the operating range is 18.69-22.8 GHz. The core size measures 123 × 47 m without measurement pads.
