Abstract :
An alternative approach for the evaluation of error probability (ERRP) in L-branch BPSK equal-gain combiners in the presence of Rayleigh fading is presented. The ERRP is evaluated directly, via a simple closed form expression, using the properties of the characteristic function of a random variable. Results and comparison with other existing techniques are also presented
