Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a new probabilistic model for relative location estimation in WSNs with planned deployment of anchor nodes. In this model, the estimation accuracy can be improved significantly with some prior information. The accuracy can be further improved with better use of the information of the position of unreachable anchor nodes. The simulation results show that the proposed models outperform existing solutions in terms of estimation accuracy for WSNs with planned deployment of anchor nodes.
