Abstract :
A number of authors have examined the problem of determining the codeword error probability, Pe, in an asynchronous frequency-hopped spread spectrum multiple access (FH-SSMA) communication system. In this letter, we present a method for determining Pe in a time-slotted system which incorporates a guard time and study the effect of the guard time on Pe and some other performance measures
