Abstract :
The robustness properties of a specific adaptive pole placement scheme in the presence of bounded disturbances and slow time variation of parameters are studied. It is shown that the least squares algorithm used in this scheme retains the global stability of the overall system in the presence of bounded disturbances of small magnitude and slow time variation of system parameters (within a compact set)
