Abstract
An electronics manufacturing concern, whom we shall call Amptronic Inc., was anxious to announce a new electronic component that would replace a combination of several traditional components. So it commissioned its technical public relations department to invite a dozen key editors and reporters from the trade and business press to a large-scale presentation at its plant in the Midwest.
