Abstract :
This paper deals with the development of a systematic approach to voltage stability assessment of large-scale power systems. A brief description of the different tools for voltage stability analysis is given first, then a systematic procedure which addresses some important practical issues is proposed. Presentation of analysis tools is focused on the VSTAB and ETMSP programs. Finally, a large-scale case study is presented illustrating the proposed procedure
