Abstract :
What is done prior to production, as well as thereafter, is as important as the production process itself in ensuring the quality of products. The author discusses preproduction phase, testing during production, final checks after production, life testing, statistical approach, sampling, and the effect of management´s attitude. What is done prior to production, as well as there after, is as important as the production process itself in ensuring the quality of products.
