Abstract :
The air conditioner load is the most variable component of the system load of the Kansai Electric Power Company. As the air conditioner load changes with temperature and time, the voltage and frequency characteristics of the system load change as well as its magnitude. Single-phase air conditioner characteristics have been determined through measurement, and simple models suitable for power system studies have been developed
