Abstract :
Discusses evoked potentials, a test designed to shed light on how electrical information travels about the brain. This test is basically a form of electroencephalogram (EEG) showering the brain´s transient response to a particular stimulus, such as sound. The application of BEAM (brain electrical activity mapping), a technique for displaying evoked potentials and EEGs colour maps of the human head is included.
