Abstract :
Novel multi-standard video front-end ICs are described. One IC comprises a multi-standard color decoder, a sync processor, and a fast YUV switch. The second IC, for applications without a feature box, is a version with a picture geometry control circuit instead of a YUV switch. These devices have been realized in a BiCMOS process. They need very few external components and are completely alignment-free. Block diagrams are provided
