Abstract :
As electrical engineering enters its second century the profession is, by many indicators, in better shape than ever. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has projected that over half a million more engineering jobs will open up in the next decade. Antitechnology sentiments of the 1960s have waned; the public is enamored of electronics.
