Abstract
A multistandard video processor for composite and S-VHS video signals is described. Based on a 2-H adaptive combfilter for PAL and NTSC, a horizontal and vertical peaking, and a black-level-expander, the new circuit enhances picture quality by eliminating cross-color and cross-luminance artifacts and improving two-dimensional resolution and contrast
