Abstract
The orthogonal experiment method is adopted to study the influence of the geometric parameters of the motor jacket and the hydraulic and overall heat dissipation performance investigated. 27 models are selected by the OEM for the multi-level and multi-factor problem. As investigated from the result of the calibrated CFD analysis, the study showed that the impact of the number of turns, the ratio between the width of tendon and the width of ducts section and the height of ducts section on heat transfer and the pressure drop. Also the best combination of these three geometric factors is determined.
