Abstract :
In this paper, we explore the SRM(switched reluctance motor) drive system in the application of heavy vehicles, and introduce the development process about the hardware of SRM drive system. Completing the design of 4kW three-phase 6/4 SRM principle prototype and the SRM driver with DSP controller. Finally, we take experiment to the principle prototype system under the condition of no-load and the load, which has a certain reference value for the SRM drive system in the application of heavy vehicles for the next step.
