  • Abstract
    A low-cost image processing feature for the video telephone and television doorphone intercom has been developed. By solving the practical problems involved and modifying the AVRT (automatic viewing range tracing method) algorithm, the error ratio of the AVRT was reduced several percentage points, which clears the way for its practical use. The AVRT feature can also be used as a security sensor in home automation systems
