Abstract :
As far as impacting the tech world, no school has had a more influential hand in cultivating leaders than Stanford University in California. Companies including Google, Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, and Yahoo! all can trace their origins back to Stanford. But as successful companies such as these expand and flourish outside of Stanford´s walls, the university´s IEEE Student Branch (SB) continues to reel them back in to speak to the next generation of engineering pioneers.
