            Abstract : 
This paper presents a method of echo cancellation in offset-QAM based multicarrier data transmission. The method makes use of inherent T/2 amplitude modulation signaling structure of the orthogonally frequency-division multiplexed mutually T/2-staggered quadrature subchannel signals. The echo cancellation convergence is analyzed and a particular two-stage strategy to effectively accelerate adaptation process is presented
