  • Abstract
    Time flies! There are a number of activities going on within the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES). The 2010 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE) Conference was held 4–7 July in Bari, Italy. After having received 1,100 papers, we saw record-breaking participation in the ISIE Conference. Despite the global economic downturn, this record number of attendees was a remarkable success, and conference organizers were commended for it.
