Abstract
Our profession has created a veritable glut of records and artifacts including research notebooks, proposals, memos, and the like ¿ not to mention a plethora of mock-ups, breadboards, models, and eouipment prototypes. And both are increasing at an exponential rate. Which documents and hardware should be saved? And for what purposes?
