Abstract :
Class E circuits have usually been analyzed for particular values of the switch duty ratio. This paper presents a systematic analysis of the effects of the switch duty ratio on the design values and performance of Class E amplifiers and frequency multipliers, for various values of the output network Q. Some new and promising design possibilities are pointed out, especially for class E frequency multipliers operating at low Q values
