Not just for sleeping

The high-tech bed described here consists of four posts and a platform with the mattress and springs in the center. The ends of the bed can be positioned by the electronic controls at angles from horizontal to upright. The bed is also equipped with an audio system, a video screen that can be lowered from a bridge between two of the posts, and a telephone. At one end of the bed itself is a glass chamber enclosing a shower, whirlpool, and steam-maker. The high-tech bedroom can even offer an automatic clothing retrieval system in the closet.
