Abstract :
Lithium titanate battery has not only a longer cycle life, but also better rate characteristics and wider operating temperature range over other batteries of the same type. Estimation of SOC and peak power is of great significance to reasonable use and extension of battery life. Based on existing battery SOC estimation methods and incremental capacity analysis (ICA), the value of SOC can be modified by charging peak and valley through analysing Q/ V curves with different charging rates, which can accurately estimate the peak power and provide the basis for application of lithium titanate battery in the field of rail tractor.
