Abstract
Network level fault diagnosis is essential to guarantee the safety of steer-by-wire system. To study network level fault diagnosis in steer-by-wire system, TrueTime toolbox in Matlab/Simulink is first used to construct a TDMA network, then Adaptive-Network-based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is embedded for diagnosing network level faults. Utilizing time-triggered network protocol signals, such as error frames accounts, the ANFIS algorithm can diagnose network level faults when the system is running and give the healthiness of the network. Simulation results show that the system based on ANFIS is efficient and can be further used in steer-by-wire system network diagnosis design.
