Abstract :
High-efficiency motors play a key role in energy conservation around the world. Understanding the efficiency requirements of the international Electro technical Commission (IEC) and the National Electric Manufacturing Association (NEMA) is crucial in both producing and purchasing the right type of electric motors to meet various efficiency requirements. the speed of the motor and the type of the cooling fans used influence the windage and friction loss.
