Abstract :
Confronting and overcoming disasters has been a continuous theme in the story of humanity. Little humbles us more than seeing the power of nature in the form of an earthquake, hurricane, or volcano. At the same time, we cannot help but be astounded by our ability to consistently recover and rebuild.
