Title :
Software and the multi-disciplinary engineer or what do graduates need to know about software?
Abstract :
The author argues that for the teaching of software engineering to be effective in a mixed degree, there is a minimum level which must be taught, below which the rule should be ´teach nothing´. This is because of the relative state of maturity of software engineering compared with the more traditional engineering degrees.
