Abstract :
The undetected error probability of binary constant weight codes on a binary symmetric channel is studied in this correspondence. First, we present a necessary condition for the binary constant weight codes to be proper for error detection. Then, by using the necessary condition, we study the error detection capability of binary optimum constant weight codes
