Abstract
Key metals used in electronics are extracted from war-torn regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The author finds out what is being done to stop this evil trade. The tin industry cannot certify mines as conflict free, and the UN does not have the capacity either. Most people believe that certification should be down to the DRC government.
