Abstract :
To obtain Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) higher volumetric power density, increasing rotational speed is an effective Way[1]. The core of PMSM control system is the vector control, the vector control is based on motor position signal, therefore, the position signal redundancy algorithm is the key to the PMSM drive system. The failure of position signal has worse influence in high speed region than low speed region. So more and more people are concerned about the reliable operation of the high speed permanent magnet synchronous motor. The rotor-speed-estimation method, based on rotor flux estimation has more advantages with the speed of motor increasing. This paper presents a novel reliable control technique of high speed permanent magnet synchronous motor. The proposed algorithm has simpler control algorithms and little computational burden.
