  • Abstract
The force-current factor of radial active magnetic bearing (AMB) is important for the stability and dynamic performance of the magnetic levitation system. For the sake of force-current relationship identification, an experiment method is exhibited in detail. Various static loads can be applied to the rotor in radial direction with a pulley blocks system easily. A 190 kW motor equipped with magnetic bearings and digital control system is tested by the designed measure system. The experiment results are validated by analytical method. Furthermore, this test method is proved to be suitable for large load test of the magnetic bearing support system.
