Abstract :
A new expression is derived for the bit error rate (BER) of the π/4 DQPSK in a channel modelled by the Nakagami-lognormal (NLN) fading process. The NLN model includes the well-known Suzuki model as a special case. New BER curves with varying degrees of fading severity and shadowing spread are presented and discussed
