Abstract :
A novel CMOS high-speed low-noise current-mode preamplifier is proposed for large capacitive input. For a 50 pF photodiode capacitance, it is shown that the f2 noise level is successfully suppressed to a level comparable with the background-light shot noise at 20 MHz
