    The power/quantum conversion efficiency of 1480 nm multi-Stokes Raman fibre lasers pumped at 1064 nm is numerically optimised through a new and simplified resolution method. In practical device implementation with a 10 W pump, efficiencies up to 60%/83% are predicted
