Abstract
Co-ordinate transformation and conformal mapping methods have been applied to study the problem of radiation from a biconical antenna with elliptical cross-section. The infinite elliptical cone geometry can be transformed into the two-dimensional plane under the assumption of pure TEM spherical waves. Closed-form solutions for the characteristic parameters are presented
