  • Abstract
An effective boundary element numerical algorithm combining the wavelet transform and generalized minimum residual method for the solution of the electric field problem in substations is proposed. The realistic numerical results are presented to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of this algorithm for the achievement of more convergence ratio and computational efficiency on the premise of reliable accuracy; the proposed algorithm can be employed to perform the calculation of electric field in substations for the analysis of electromagnetic compatibility to improve the stable operation of power grid.
