Abstract :
This paper proposes a dynamic analysis method of repulsion forces acting on current-carrying contact. In this method, the dynamic repulsion forces are computed using 3-D FEM coupling with magnetic field analysis, current distribution analysis, and motion analysis of contacts. The effectiveness of this method is clarified through the dynamic analysis of repulsion forces on contacts.
