Abstract :
The authors present a current limit, gate drive and 0.3 Ω low-side power switch circuit which provides fast current regulation (2 μs) to a preset current limit when an abrupt current overload occurs. This efficiency reduces excessive energy dissipation by the switch to prevent the switch from being burnt out
