            Abstract : 
A commutation instant detection circuit has been designed and implemented for use in the sensorless drive of a brushless DC (BLDC) motor. The circuit consists simply of differential amplifiers and comparators, and detects the zero-crossing point of the back electromotive force difference. The circuit output is identical to that of the Hall sensor signal.
